Affordable Care Options
Many individuals opt to pay directly for their care at our office. Over time, they find that our services are both affordable and highly effective—often costing less than traditional treatments like prescription drugs or surgery. During your second visit, known as your Report of Findings, we’ll walk you through your treatment options and discuss what may be eligible for insurance reimbursement, giving you all the information you need to make the best choice for your health and budget.
Using Insurance
iSpine Health Center operates on a Fee-for-Service model. While we are not in-network with most insurance companies, we provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. We accept Medicare, auto accident, and personal injury cases. Because insurance coverage varies widely, we encourage you to call your provider in advance. When Insurance Isn’t Available
For those without insurance or with limited coverage, we offer several payment plan options. We partner with financing providers such as CareCredit, allowing you to spread payments out over time with manageable installments. This makes it easier to invest in your health without financial strain—a favorite choice among many of our patients.
How Our Fees Are Determined
Our pricing structure reflects time, expertise, and behind-the-scenes work that goes into delivering high-quality care. Fees are determined based on:
- The duration of your appointment
- The complexity of your condition
- The treatments performed during your visit
- Maintaining and updating your electronic health records
- Interpreting lab results and sharing them with you
- Reviewing radiology reports and consulting with specialists when necessary
- Communicating with your other healthcare providers
- Preparing referrals to outside specialists
- Conducting medical research related to your case
- Completing documentation like prior authorization or letters of medical necessity
- Reviewing outside medical records and coordinating care with other professionals
These additional services are vital to your treatment but often go unseen. Still, we strive to offer this comprehensive approach at the most reasonable cost possible.
Insurance Participation & Philosophy
In recent years, reimbursement rates from insurance companies have declined or stagnated, while administrative demands have increased. This has pressured many providers to reduce time spent with patients, often compromising care quality. At iSpine Health Center, we’ve chosen to limit our insurance contracts to preserve the quality and depth of care we deliver.
We remain a participating provider with Medicare, allowing us to see Medicare patients with a standard co-pay per visit. Please note that initial consultation fees are not covered by Medicare.
Patients with PPO plans are welcome and often receive partial reimbursement at out-of-network rates. If you have an HMO plan, reimbursement is typically not available—though exceptions may apply if referred by your primary care physician (PCP).
Reimbursements from insurance are usually processed within 2–3 weeks.
